We cannot say ‘thankyou’ enough to all of those brave souls who work their butts off listing and updating sessions and singarounds all over the country. Given the hassle over constantly changing venues and a million and one other variables, keeping track of what’s going on where when it’s all done for free is a noble cause and these links are a tribute to you. As Churchill might have said if he was a melodeon and guitar playing muso in search of like minded people to jam with ‘never have so many owed so much to so few’.
If you are interested in whats happening to get more people involved in folk singing, you should visit the Access Folk project run by Fay Hield and the Sheffield Uni team and their 5 year project and get involved
